Amy joined the ACLU of Idaho in January 2023, and brings over a decade of experience and expertise to legislative advocacy efforts within and beyond Idaho’s State Capital. Amy has worked in private, academic, and nonprofit sectors on projects broadly concerned with systemic and structural inequality, social and economic injustice, law, and policy. Amy has experience in legal research, policy analysis, labor union organizing, in-prison education, local political campaign and ballot initiative work, and research on urban fiscal policy, local politics, education, housing, and prisons. After graduating from Northeastern University, Amy earned a master's degree in Public Affairs and is a PhD candidate in Geography.
