"Glenn Greenwald is not just the American Left's most fearless political commentator; his fearlessness is such that he has shifted the expectations for everyone else, too. His rock-ribbed principles and absolute disregard for partisan favor have made U.S. political discourse edgier, more confrontational, and much, much better." -Rachel Maddow

In October, the ACLU filed a FOIA request demanding disclosure of the most basic information about the CIA’s killing of 3 American citizens in Yemen: Anwar Awlaki and Samir Khan, killed by missiles fired by a U.S. drone in September, and Awlaki’s 16-year-old son, Abdulrahman, killed by another drone attack two weeks later. Glenn Greenwald Reception

Join us at a pre-event reception with the speaker at 6pm at The Grove Hotel.
The reception is being hosted by the Pride Foundation, which in addition, will do a free raffle to give $100 to an Idaho non-profit.

The Pride Foundation was founded in lat 1985 by four committed individuals, who believed that the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community needed its own philanthropic organization.  They were aided by the Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA) and devoted the agency solely to raising and managing substantial funds to address the growing challenges facing the community, not the least of which was the new and frightening prospect of HIV/AIDS.  Learn more about the Pride Foundation.
