The ACLU of Idaho has learned that the Canyon Area Human Rights Task Force proposed language adding "sexual orientation and gender identity" to the protected classes in the Caldwell City personnel policies. The understanding of the CAHRTF was the City Council had approved their proposed language. However, the ACLU of Idaho has learned the City Council only approved the addition of "sexual orientation."

We see this as a partial victory because justice for some is justice for none. We will continue working on full equality for all Idaho's citizens.
