Because Freedom Can't Protect Itself

The Community Center v. ACHD – In 2006 a Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender rights activist in Idaho complained to us that the Ada County Highway District would not permit newsstands in Boise for Idaho’s GLBT publication, Diversity.   We contacted the ACHD, explained the constitutional prohibition against viewpoint discrimination, followed up with a letter, and ACHD then agreed to allow the newsstands.  As a result, they now exist in Boise.
